DIGITAL DESIGNER

DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Digital Designer (Sr. Graphic Design) who is original in thinking, brings fresh ideas to the table and can also solve design challenges. Ideally, you have an understanding of the latest digital and cultural products, trends and patterns. You have a great portfolio to share. You will be helping to ensure the success of high-profile marketing and branding projects and managing junior-level Designers. This role will provide a high level of support across multiple campaigns and initiatives. Healthcare industry experience a plus.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Senior: 5-7+ years 

PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE

5-7+ years related graphic design experience; 1-2+ years management and mentorship of junior staff

SALARY

$75000-$85,000 annually dependent upon experience

EMPLOYEE TYPE

Full-Time, Permanent (Exempt), 40 hours

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

Graphic design/fine art/advertising degree or equivalent work experience

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of print and digital production with animation/video a plus; Thorough knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator a must; Healthcare, Tech and Retail experience a plus

KEY DUTIES

  • Based on client briefing/specifications, uses a variety of tools to create and design client graphic collateral
  • Uses aesthetic design concepts to determine size and arrangement of graphic collateral
  • Interfaces with Art Director and other Creative Team Leads for final content approval
  • Mentorship of junior level Designers
  • Management of junior level Designers
  • Ensure all creative adheres to production policies and client guidelines
  • Completes all tasks within expected deadlines
  • Other duties as directed by Executive Management

OTHER KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Consistent, accurate use of time billing software and file management systems
  • Timely project updates to ACD, CD and ECD
  • Spending time understanding the business needs of the clients/projects and applying those learnings
  • Client presentation skills
  • Team relationship building
