JR. ART DIRECTOR

DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Junior Art Director with an agency background, great ideas, top notch design sense and an understanding of the latest digital and cultural products, trends and patterns. You would also have healthcare experience and a great portfolio to share. You will be helping to ensure the success of high-profile marketing, advertising, content and branding projects. This role will provide the opportunity to take ownership of a project from start to finish.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Junior: 1-3 years

PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE

2+  years agency experience in both digital and traditional creative; Experience  with content, non-traditional concepts and methods ideal    

LOCATION

Birmingham, MI

SALARY

$40,000-43,000 annually

EMPLOYEE TYPE

Full-Time, Permanent (Exempt), 40 hours

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

Graphic design/fine art/advertising degree or   equivalent work experience.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Familiarity in working with Copywriters, Illustrators, Photographers, Producers, Directors, etc.; Healthcare, Tech and Retail experience with portfolio samples preferred; Work in Keynote preferred    

KEY DUTIES

  • From client briefings, develop a campaign's artistic approach and style
  • Develop overall look/style and graphic consistency of print and digital campaigns
  • Ensure all creative adheres to production policies and client guidelines
  • Other duties as directed by Senior and Executive Management

OTHER KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Consistent, accurate use of time billing software and file management systems
  • Timely project updates to ACD/ Executive Creative Director
  • Spending time understanding the business needs of the clients/projects and applying those learnings
  • Client presentation skills
  • Team relationship building
