JR. COPYWRITER

We’re looking for a Junior Copywriter with an agency background, great ideas, a way with words and obsession with original ideas, and an understanding of the latest digital and cultural products, trends and patterns. You would also ideally have healthcare experience and a great portfolio to share. You will be helping to ensure the success of high-profile marketing, advertising, and content branding projects. You are a team-player who works toward the common goals and purpose of our agency and client business.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Junior: 1-3 years

PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE

Related copywriter experience and/or portfolio with written examples

LOCATION

Birmingham, MI

SALARY

$40,000-43,000 annualy

EMPLOYEE TYPE

Full-Time, Permanent (Exempt), 40 hours

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

Degree in English, journalism, advertising, marketing or related field of study and/or a combination of education and relevant experience

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and editing skills; Healthcare and Retail experience preferred.

KEY DUTIES

  • Write and proofread copy, and any other related informative and promotional materials
  • Drive brand consistency through ongoing development and implementation of brand guidelines for copy
  • Become a TILT brand advocate, using copy to convey the importance and nuance of our model
  • Ensure timely release of copy material
  • Other duties as directed by Executive Management

OTHER KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Consistent, accurate use of time billing software and file management systems
  • Timely project updates to Executive Creative Director
  • Spending time understanding the business needs of the clients/projects and applying those learnings
  • Client presentation skills
  • Team relationship building
